"K" slow-rotor crushers are machines that have been designed to crush any type of wood, i.e. reduce the volume of bulky wood waste.
The result, in terms of wood chips that can be obtained, varies according to the result and use that must be achieved.
Once refined, the crushed material free from plastics or glues, is excellent for producing briquettes and pellets.

General operating principles

The material to be crushed is fed into the loading hopper either manually or with loading devices such as belt or apron loaders.
The operator then starts the machine through the control panel. The hydraulically controlled feed plate pushes the material against the slow-turning crushing rotor. The rotor, equipped with a series of hard metal inserts, crushes the material with the assistance of a fixed blade.
Upon completion of feeding, the plate goes back automatically and repeats the cycle.
The crushed material falls through a screen around the rotor and into the lower hopper and is then conveyed out of the machine by means of a screw conveyer or a suction system.
